- Use the fingertips to press at the center the head crown (Du 20), and knead for 50 times;
- Bend the index fingers, use the middle knuckles to press firmly at the middle forehead, then wipe towards the temples, repeat for 30 times;
- Use the fingertips to press at the temples and knead for 30 times, then wipe towards the upper corners of forehead (St 8, just inside the hairline) for 30 times;

- Use the thumb to knead on the inner side of the wrist (Ht 7) of other hand, 30 times each side;
- Use the thumb to knead on 3-finger-breadth above the inner malleolus of ankle (Sp 6), 30 times each side;
- Use the palm edge to rub the center of the soles (Kl 1), 30 times each foot.
When kneading or pressing on particular points, there should be enough force to bring about numbness or soreness, while rubbing or wiping should create a feeling of warmth.
