Cassia Twig & Liquorice Decoction
gui zhi gan cao tang 桂枝甘草湯

| jiu gan cao | liquorice root (processed with honey) | Radix Glycyrrhizae praeparata |
Indications: palpitations (pounding or fluttering sensation in the chest), chest oppression and shortness of breath; the patients often feel their heart racing and may instinctively press on their chest. There may also have pale complexion, aversion to cold, cold limbs, pale and tender tongue, weak pulse or knotted pulse.
