Indications: high fever with irritability or restlessness, dry mouth and dry throat, bleeding symptoms, skin eruptions, red tongue with yellow coating, rapid and forceful pulse. With proper modification, modern TCM often applies various inflammatory and infectious conditions such as urinary tract infections, breast inflammation, gastroenteritis, abscesses, sores, boils, carbuncles, as well as skin conditions such as eczema and rosacea.
